Display Summarized JIT Calls

Use

This function allows the supplier or the ESP to view both the current summarized JIT calls and the Kanban summarized JIT calls. See also Summarized JIT Calls and. Replenishment with Summarized JIT Calls .

Prerequisites

You have entered a status (for example 000-9999) for the outbound summarized JIT calls in Customizing, by choosing Start of the navigation path Materials Management Next navigation step Supplier Workplace Next navigation step Maintain JIT authorizations for Supplier. End of the navigation path

Procedure

  1. In the Supplier Workplace, call up the function JIT Calls .

You see the JIT call overview which shows all the outbound summarized JIT calls and Kanban summarized JIT calls which are assigned to your suppliers.

  1. To restrict the list further, choose Search Criteria and enter the OEM or Supplier material number, a time period for the delivery date or enter a JIT call number directly and choose Search. You can also maintain a number of default settings, for example, whether the summarized JIT call view or the product view is displayed, in other words, whether the list is arranged according to calls or products. You can change the sort criteria, make default settings for suppliers and plants and choose whether only the Kanban summarized JIT call, the outbound summarized JIT calls or both types of JIT call should be displayed.

The system displays an overview of the calls that match your selection.

So that the system only displays summarized JIT calls with open quantities, you can make further default settings for the current type of call in the search criteria:

  • For the outbound summarized JIT calls, choose a to-status in the group box Default Settings for JIT Calls which has a value of less than "goods receipt completely posted".

  • In the group box Kanban summarized JIT calls, you only search for Kanban summarized JIT calls for which goods receipt has not yet been posted. In order to ensure that the calls have been completed and no further items will be added, set the "completed" indicator as well.

  1. In the function itself you can restrict the list according to supplier, plant and delivery date.

  2. Expand the calls in the JIT Call Items column to see the individual items.

  3. In the XML column, click on the symbol to download the call onto your hard disk as an XML document.
