Date Check

Use

You use the Date check function to determine whether the requested due date falls on a working day. You can also check a transaction date against two calendars.

Features

Before you conclude a transaction, you can use the Date check function to check that a specific date (for example, a due date) is a working day for both business partners.

Activities

To use the Date check utility:

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Treasury and Risk Management Next navigation step Transaction Manager Next navigation step Money Market Next navigation step Trading Next navigation step Utilities Next navigation step Date Check End of the navigation path .

  2. In the calendar fields , enter your calendar ID (such as US for factory calendar US standard) and your business partner’s calendar ID (such as 01 for factory calendar Germany standard).

  3. Under the Start of Term and End of Term , enter the transaction dates you want to have checked.

  4. Confirm your entries.

Result

If the date you have entered is not a working day in your business partner’s calendar, or a due date or fixing date is on a weekend or a holiday, the system shows the previous working day and the next working day.
