public class ImportSubscriberDataOp
extends MessageOperationAdapter

This operation enables to import a subscriber data that includes master data for an end customer of a service provider.

Business Contexts

You implement this operation to:

• Transport customer master data from a development SAP CC system to a quality assurance or production system
• Migrate old master data for end customers from an old system or from an external legacy system to a new system landscape with SAP Convergent Charging.

Prerequisites

The subscriber data must be valid and consistent regarding to the data already available in the target SAP CC system.

The following conditions apply for each object included in the subscriber data to import:

• Subscriber account
  • The subscriber account identified by its code and its service provider must not exist in the target SAP CC system
• Subscription
  • The subscription identified by its code must not exist in the target SAP CC system
  • The offer referred by the subscription must exist in the target platform
  • Important: The subscription is imported with its full context chronology
• Access
  • The subscriptions and charge activations specified in the accessible charges of the accesses must exist in the target SAP CC system
  • The access chronology to import must not overlap an access chronology existing in the target SAP CC system
• Subscription counter snapshot
  • Important: During the import of counter snapshot, the target SAP CC system deletes all the existing counter snapshots prior to inserting the new ones. Thus the full snapshot history must always be inserted (importing a snapshot for a single day will leave only this snapshot in background database system)
  • All the counter snapshots must have consecutive dates

Note

It is possible to import any combination of valid objects using this operation, even if they are not linked to each other, provided that they respect the conditions described above.
