The windows that you open to work with the Chargeable Item Class, Charge, Pricing Macro, Charge Plan, Provider Contract, Offer, and Subscriptions objects contain common characteristics that are shown in the figure below:

Two object icons are shown on each object window: One on the far left of the title bar and one on the upper left of the right pane.
The object status icon on the title bar shows you the status of the object you are working with:
Being created
Has been saved to the database
Has been reopened and is in the process of being modified
You create the object as a tree structure in the tree display area. Each building block of an object tree is represented by an icon.
The identification area allows the object to be saved in the database under a unique name. You can choose to describe the object if you wish.
The tabs area contains one or more tabs that are available depending on how the object is structured. The tabs allow you to define and characterize the object and its elements in the tree display area.
