Display/Edit mode

In SAP CC Core Tool, main catalog objects open in the display mode. You have to switch to the edit mode if you need to modify an object by clicking the Edit Mode icon on the main toolbar.

If the object has been modified since you opened it, an Information dialog box opens to inform you that the object will be reloaded. Click OK to reload the object in the edit mode.

You come back to the display mode by clicking the Display Mode icon on the main toolbar. You are asked to save your changes. If you click:

• No, your previous modifications are lost, the object is reloaded and the object windows is in the display mode.

• Yes, the object is saved and the object windows is in the display mode.

• Cancel, the object remains unchanged and the object windows is in the edit mode.
