Finding subscriptions

To find subscriptions in the customer master data configured in SAP CC, you perform the operation in two halves of the window:

You can find subscriptions with or without using search criteria.

Basic tab

The Basic tab allows you to find subscriptions depending on the criteria described below.

Code: Is the identifier of the subscription. In the drop-down list, select a search comparator such as Equals, Is Like, Starts With, Ends With, or Contains. In the next field, type the string that you want to search for in the database. For example, if you want to find all subscriptions containing the letters “eric”, you select the “Contains” option, and then type “eric”.

Offer Code: click the Search button to find an offer. The Choose an Offer dialog box opens. In the Owner drop-down menu, select the owner of the offer. When the catalog of the owner is displayed, select the offer, and then click Open. The corresponding offer window opens.

Subscription Type: The type of a subscription depends on its rating mode. To search for subscriptions depending on their type, select one of the following options:

Rerating Lock State: The subscription is locked or not depending on the rerating process. To search for subscriptions depending on their state, select one of the following options:

Advanced tab

To find subscriptions, the Advanced tab allows you to create a table with one or more search criteria such as Effective Date, Expiration Date, or Suspension Date. To add a row to the table, click the More button. To delete a row from the table, click the Less button.

Notes:

  • If the criteria table consists of several rows and if you want to delete a row, the Remove dialog box opens to display the identifier names. Select the row that you want to delete from the table, and then click OK.

  • If you choose the Is Like comparator when building criteria rows, you can type “*” in the right-hand field to represent a number of characters and “?” to represent a single character.

Each row of the table comprises three fields. To set up a row, do the following:

  1. In the first field, select a search criterion in the list of identifiers such as Effective Date, Expiration Date, Suspension Date, for example.

  2. In the second field, select a search comparator such as After, Before, After or Equals, Before or Equals, for example.

  3. In the third field, select or type the date or string that you want to find in the database.

Results area

Use the following icons:

: To start a new search whether you use search criteria or not.

: To delete the results list and reset the filter.

: To move to the next page. This button is available when the results list is large.

: To move to the previous page. This button is available when the results list is large.
