Finding a subscriber account

To search for a subscriber account in the customer master data configured in SAP CC, you perform the operation in two halves of the Choose a Subscriber Account window:

Tasks

You can find subscriber accounts with or without using search criteria.

Filter area

Basic tab

The Basic tab allows you to search for subscriber accounts depending on an identification code, a subscriber, or a service provider.

Code: Is the identifier of the subscriber account. In the drop-down list, select a search comparator such as Equals, Is Like, Starts With, Ends With, or Contains. In the next field, type the string that you want to search in the back-end database. For example, if you want to find all subscriber accounts containing the letters “eric”, you select the “Contains” option, and then type “eric”.

Subscriber: Is the end customer that holds an account. The drop-down list is described just above. Type the string that you want to search for in the database.

Service Provider: Is the owner of the pricing catalog. The drop-down list is described just above. If you are associated to a catalog, this field is automatically filled in with the name of the related catalog and cannot be modified. Otherwise, you type the string that you want to search for in the database.

Customer Management Area: Is the customer management area that is responsible for a subset of subscriber accounts when the system landscape includes several SAP ERP/FI-CA or SAP CRM systems. Select Any or the appropriate name.

Advanced tab

To search for subscriber accounts, the Advanced tab allows you to create a table with one or more search criteria based on additional information. To add a row to the table, click the More button. To delete a row from the table, click the Less button.

Notes:

  • If the criteria table comprises several rows and if you want to delete a row, the Remove dialog box opens to display the identifier names. Select the row that you want to delete from the table, and then click OK.

  • If you choose the Is Like comparator when building criteria rows, you can type “*” in the right-hand field to represent a number of characters and “?” to represent a single character.

Each row of the table consists of three fields. To set up a row, do the following:

  1. In the first field, select a search criterion such as Add. Info (String), Add. Info (Number), or Add. Info (Date) in the list of identifiers.

  2. In the second field, select a search comparator such as Equals, Is Like, Starts With, for example.

  3. In the third field, select or type the string that you want to search in the database.
