Subscription charge counters

Create or modify a subscription before setting up a charge in a subscription. In the left pane of the subscription window, click a charge to view, and then open the Counters tab.

 

In a charge of a subscription, you can redefine a counter that was created in the original charge.

The list of the counters created for the original charge is displayed on the Counters tab. Each row in the list represents a counter that you can redefine.

Fill in or modify the Counters tab.

State: Provides a drop-down list. Select Redefined if you want to modify the value of the counter.

Name: Displays the counter name.

Description: Displays the description of the counter.

Value: After you select Redefined in the State column, type the new value for the counter.

 

Notes:

  • When you save the subscription, even though you have redefined a charge counter, you will find that the state of the counter has reverted to Not Redefined. The modification is taken into account immediately by the system; therefore, the counter value remains dependent of the rating process.

  • You can continue redefining counter values in a charge after the subscription containing it has been saved.
