Refill components are calculation tools you use to create the refill logic. Together the components make up a refill tree which computes the different credits (money, units, and so on) of a refill.
Each main branch of the refill logic begins with a Refill component that is linked to a refill activation method. There are three types of refill linked to three methods of activation:
|
Type of refill |
Activation |
|
|
Each time a customer refills a prepaid account |

|
Periodic

Once only

Usage refill: Can be used each time a customer makes a refill on a prepaid account through a refill card or an ATM.
Recurring refill: Can be used monthly to automatically add a fixed credit or to credit the balance of a prepaid account to a certain amount. Ca be used daily to ensure a minimum balance amount.
One-shot refill: Can be used when a bonus is charged on a prepaid account after a customer has just subscribed to a provider contract
The values generated higher up a refill branch become available to all parts of the branch further toward the ends of the branch. When a property is generated on one refill branch, it cannot be used on another refill branch.
The components of a refill tree are grouped into five families depending on their main function:
Refill components
always begin the main branches of a refill tree.
Comparator
, Splitter
, and Operator
components help to calculate a refill.
Function components
end each branch of a refill tree with a final calculated refill.
