Setting up an offer

An offer is:

• Basic when it contains at least a master charge and zero, one or more dependent charges

• Complex when it contains one or more suboffers and zero, one or more charges

In the offer window, an offer is graphically represented by an offer tree, which consists of the following:

• Offer root

• Suboffer - one or more, which also contain charges and may contain more suboffers

• Charge - one or more   

You must create, open, or modify an offer before setting it up. An offer window must be open.

To set up an offer

1. In the left pane of the offer window, click the offer root .

2. In the right pane of the offer window, identify the offer. In the Name field, type the unique identifier of the offer if you create the offer. You cannot modify this field. In the Description field, describe the function of the offer if necessary.

3. Set up the following tabs of the offer: Definition, Counters, Parameters, Translation Tables, Tier Tables, Additional Information, and Dependencies.

4. If necessary, add one or more suboffers, and then set up the suboffers.

5. If necessary, add one or more charges, and then set up the charges.

6. If necessary, remove one or more suboffers or charges.
