Setting up a reusable charge

Create, open, or modify a charge before setting it up. A charge window must be open.

The elements of the charge windows enable you to create:

• A price plan that calculates the amount of a charge

• A charging plan that charges the calculated amount of the price plan to an account

To set up a charge

1. In the tree display area of the charge window, click the charge object icon .

2. In the right pane of the charge window, identify the charge. In the Name field, type the unique identifier of the charge. In the Description field, describe the function of the charge if necessary.

3. Set up the following tabs of the charge: Definition tab, Parameters tab, and Legal Text tab.  

4. Click the price plan in the right pane of the charge window, and then set up the price plan of the charge.

5. Click the charging plan in the right pane of the charge window, and then set up the charging plan of the charge.
