Create or modify a charge before setting it up. In the left pane of the Charge window, click the charge root
to view, and then open the Definition tab.
|
Important:
|
The Definition tab allows you to define the type and currency of the charge and to select the chargeable item classes relevant for the configuration of Usage Rate components.
Type of Charge: Select the charge type, Master or Dependent. A master charge is independent of all other charges while a dependent charge depends on another charge in order to be calculated or triggered.
|
Note: About currencies.
|
Currency Definition: This area allows you to select the currency that you want to associate to the charge.
Fixed currency: Provides the list of currencies. Select a currency.
Multicurrency: Select this option if you do not want to associate a specific currency to the charge. This option allows you to create one only charge that can be reused in different charge plans, refill plans, or offers. This option avoid creating the same charge many times and associating each charge to a different currency.
Chargeable Item Classes: This area displays the chargeable item classes related to the charge. Clicking a chargeable item class opens its window. Do not forget that a chargeable item class is associated to a charge when you add a usage rate to the price plan of the charge. If the chargeable item class belongs to a chargeable item package coming from a version earlier than SAP CC 4.0, the chargeable item class is identified by a two-part name, one of which is in parentheses. For example, the chargeable item class "SMS (E2E_TELCOMOB_CIP)" is part of the chargeable item package "E2E_TELCOMOB_CIP".
