You can add one or more components to the rating tree or the charging tree.
You build each branch of the rating tree by using several combinations of the following components:
Functions,
Comparators,
Splitters or
Operators. You must end each branch of the rating tree with a function component. Note that function components are the leaves of the tree.

To add and set up a component
In the rating tree, click the component under which you want to add a component.
On the Components toolbar, click the component that you need to add to the rating tree. You can select a component that belongs to one of these families:
Functions,
Comparators,
Splitters or
Operators.
In the Name field of the right pane, type the name of the component.
In the Description field, describe the function of the component if necessary.
Set up the component (*).
(*): For more information about setting up components, refer to the primary help relating to components: Click Components on the Help menu of the main window.

Note: If necessary, you can change the order of components. Place the cursor on the component to move, right-click to open the shortcut menu, and then select Move Up Component or Move Down Component. |
The rules and procedures are the same as those for the rating tree except that the
Functions, the
Splitters components and the pricing macros are not available for the charging tree. Furthermore,
References replace the
Functions as the leaves of the tree.
