Charging components are tools you use to create a charging plan. Together the components make up a charging tree. You use the charging tree in a charging plan to debit or refill an account.
Each main branch of the charging plan begins with a Charging component that is linked to a charging activation method. There are three types of charging linked to three methods of activation:

The values generated higher up a charging branch become available to all parts of the branch further toward the ends of the branch. When a property is generated on one charging branch, it cannot be used on another charging branch.
Once you have selected the charging plan icon
in the charging tree display area of your charge, you can start building a charging tree.
The components of a charging tree are grouped into three families depending on their main function:
Charging components
always begin the main branches of a charging tree.
Comparator
and Operator
components (*) help to make comparisons, create, or modify properties.
Reference components
end each branch of a charging tree.
(*): These components are also used in a price plan to calculate a price.
