Creating a charged item class

Use one of these procedures to create a charged item class.

To create a charged item class

1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > New > Charged Item Class. The New Charged Item Class window opens.

2. Set up the charged item class.

3. Verify the structure of the charged item class by clicking the Verify icon on the main window toolbar. Correct all elements underlined in red.

4. Save the charged item class.

You can create a charged item class by opening an existing charged item class and copying it.

To create a charged item class from an existing one

1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Open > Charged Item Class. The Choose a Charged Item Class dialog box opens.

2. In the Owner drop-down menu, select the owner of the charged item class.

3. In the catalog of the owner, select the charged item class to copy.

4. Select the Open a Copy check box, and then click the Open button. The corresponding charged item class window opens.

5. Rename the charged item class in the Name field, and then set up the charged item class.

6. Verify the structure of the charged item class by clicking the Verify icon on the main window toolbar. Correct all elements underlined in red.

7. Save the charged item class.
