Charge plan: parameters

Create or modify a charge plan before setting it up. In the right pane of the charge plan window, open the Parameters tab.

The Parameters tab allows you to create parameters that can be shared with the customized charges. Depending on some conditions, you can redefine the parameter values when configuring provider contracts.

Parameters tab

Use the table and its icons to create shared parameters.

: Click to add a parameter row to the table.

: Click to delete a parameter row from the table.

Name: Type the name of the shared parameter.

Type: Provides the list of parameter types. Select one of the following types: Number, String, Date, Currency, Invoice Text, Mapping Table ID, Mapping Table Key, or Range Table ID.

Visibility Level: Provides the list of options for modifying the parameter value at provider contract level. Select one of the following options:

Description: Describe the function of the shared parameter. If the Visibility Level of the parameter is External (mandatory) or External (optional), the description of the parameter is mandatory.

Value: Type the default value of the shared parameter. If you have selected External (Mandatory) as the visibility level, you cannot type a value because this value is only mandatory at provider contract level.

Recurring fees synchronization

Note: This configuration is used when integrated with SAP CRM or SAP Convergent Invoicing (SAP CI) in the SAP ERP system. By default, the SAP CC Core Tool user interface inserts a particular parameter SAP_BILL_CYCLE_DATE in the charge plan. You cannot modify or delete this parameter.

If your charge plan contains charges with recurring rates, you must create special parameters if you want to:

  1. Use the prices defined commercial products configured in SAP CRM

  2. Synchronize your recurring rates with the billing cycles of SAP Convergent Invoicing and SAP ERP/FI-CA
