Once you have created or modified a tier table, and then verified its structure, you are ready to save it. You can save the tier table to either the database or as an XML file on your hard disk.
To save a new tier table to the database
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database. The Save in the catalog dialog box opens.
Select the name of the catalog.
Click Save. The Tier Table Creation dialog box opens to inform you that the tier table has been successfully saved.
Click OK.
To save a new version of an existing tier table to the database

Note: If a Warning dialog box opens to inform you that the tier table has been modified since you opened it, you can:

From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database. A dialog box opens to ask if you want to save the tier table.
Click Yes. The Save Version window opens.
In this window, select one of the following options:
Create a new version: The Start Date is automatically filled in with the current date while the End Date is automatically filled in with No End Date. You can however replace these dates by selecting them with the calendar or the arrow at the right of the field. Clicking the arrow displays the dates related to existing versions. In this list, No Start Date represents an undetermined date in the past while No End Date represents an undetermined date in the future. A message informs you when overwriting versions.
Replace Versions: The existing versions are displayed from the latest to the oldest. If the list contains one version, this version is displayed as "Unique Version". You can replace one or more consecutive versions. A message informs you when overwriting versions. Note that the list can display identical versions whose periods are different.
Click Save. The Tier Table Modification dialog box opens to inform you that the tier table has been successfully created.
Click OK.
To save a tier table as an XML file
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In a File. The Save dialog box opens.
Select a directory to save the tier table.
In the File name field, type the name of the file.
Click Save. The tier table is saved as an XML file in your selected directory.
