The Usage Refill component creates in the refill tree a main branch that computes refill events. The Usage Refill component uses a refill item class to compute the refills.
The rules are the following:
The refill logic can contain several Usage Refills
You must at least assign a refill item class to a Usage Refill
If a refill item class is assigned to a Usage Refill, the default properties and the user properties of this refill item class are available only in the branch that uses this Usage Refill
You can assign the same refill item class to different Usage Refills so that they use the properties of the same refill item class. But you must assign a Usage Identifier to each Usage Refill to identify them.
The Charge Effective Date property which represents the subscription date to an offer is also available in the Usage Refill branch
You can use the Usage Refill component to refill a prepaid account through a card or voucher.
A service provider offers bundled services in one card. Customers use this card as a calling card and also recharge their prepaid account from it. The following table shows the refill process information:

Note: If SAP Convergent Charging is connected to SAP ERP/FI-CA from SAP Business Suite, you must add two Usage Refill components in the refill logic, a component for the refill requests and another one for the reverse refills. You must respectively set the Usage Identifier of these components to "_refill_" and to "_reverse_refill_". |
Refill Item Class: Provides the list of refill item classes. Select a refill item class. A refill item class consists of default and user properties that describe a refill event also called a refill item coming from an external system such as SAP ERP or a Voucher Management System. The properties of the refill item class are used to perform a refill plan through the refill logic.
Usage Identifier: Type a unique usage identifier to identify each usage rate used in the refill logic. The SAP CC system uses the usage identifier to perform the related branch of the refill logic. To open and modify the refill item class, click
