Note: Read the caution carefully. |
Each main branch of a price plan in a charge begins with a rate component (usage, recurring, or one-shot) linked to a rate activation method.
To create a decision tree, you do the following:
You must select a rate component.
You add components from other families according to your price plan requirements.
You end each branch of the tree with a function component.
In SAP Convergent Charging, logic components are grouped into families according to their functional usage. Each component is represented by a specific icon. In the graphical user interface, these families are represented by a specific color and an icon, and they are visible in the toolbars of the Charge and Pricing Macro windows. A component is of the same color as the one of its family. The following table presents the component families available in a price plan:
|
Family icon |
Name of the family |
Function of the component family |
Location of the component family |
|
|
Defines the rating type (Usage, Recurring or One-Shot) |
Always at the root of the decision tree. Note: Unavailable in a pricing macro. |
