Note: You can only use this component after an Event-Based Trigger component. |
The Allowance Event Updater operator component allows you to modify the event handled by the allowance. These modifications are visible in the output properties of the charged item mapping, in the Allowance Logic of other allowances, and in the Allowance Event Sender Operator component (for more information on the Allowance Logic, refer to the primary help of Core Tool).
Use the Allowance Event Updater operator component when you need to change the allowance event properties.
An operator rates duration-based voice calls. Before calculating the price of each call, a “Voice Call” allowance event is sent to allowances. The allowance event class related to the allowance event contains the “Duration (sec)” property that is a number representing the duration of the call.
The allowance logic has an “event allowance” for the “allowance event class” called “Voice Call”. To indicate that the current allowance has authorized a part of the duration of the call, you must modify the event by setting up the remaining duration in the “Duration (sec)” field.
The configuration of a Trigger Allowance component requires the selection of an Allowance Event Class that specifies the type of the allowance event (for more information, refer to the primary help of Core Tool).
