The Property Introducer Operator component allows you to create new properties for a plan or to modify the properties created with a Property Introducer Operator component. This component can also be used to access properties which are not available for other components (e.g. the contract identifier).
In a pricing plan, you can insert a first Property Introducer Operator to create new properties available for the branch of a rate component. If you need to modify the values of these properties in the branch of a component, you can insert a second Property Introducer Operator in this branch to assign new values to the properties created with the first Property Introducer Operator.
In a price plan, you need an intermediate property to save a result. You then insert a Property Introducer Operator into your price plan to create the property "Intermediate result".

|
Note: The reservation-free value is not compatible with the cancellation of the previous transaction in the session-based charging. In case of cancellation, the reservation-free value will be the current value at the time of the canceled reservation. |
The reservation-free value of the persistent counter is provided for information and reporting and must be carefully used in the decision tree.
In the offer of a telephone operator, an “SMS count” persistent counter represents the number of SMS that the consumer can use. The reservation-free value is 3, which means that the consumer can use 3 SMS. And the current value of “free SMS” is 1 because there are 2 ongoing reservations for this counter.
You must not authorize the consumer to use more than 1 free SMS even if the reservation-free value is 3 because you cannot predict if the reservations will be confirmed or canceled.
