SAP Convergent Charging® 4.0 is built upon a powerful, flexible pricing modeling, and charging solution. SAP CC drives a powerful set of systems and user applications to profitably rate and charge millions of service consumption events in prepaid or postpaid environments. SAP Convergent Charging's modular design includes an implementation framework for fast and low-cost integration (low TCO) to quickly deploy solutions that enable you to get a rapid return on your investment (rapid ROI).
This online Help system describes how to use the SAP CC Core Tool user interface to configure master data and business data. It explains:

Tasks you have to perform with Core Tool and associated procedures during both the implementation project phase and the production operation phase
For more information about help, refer to help resources. This documentation provides you with configuration information of master data based on provider contracts or subscriptions.
Power users
SAP technology consultants
The online Help system is intended for power users (consultants) who create and manage the master data for service providers: charges, charge plans, refill plans, and offers. This master data is grouped in a pricing catalog to configure the pricing logic for the use of the customer services.
|
Note: For test purposes, consultants can manage master data related to the end customers of a service provider. This customer master data includes subscriber accounts, provider contracts and subscriptions. During the implementation project phase, SAP Convergent Charging is integrated with a CRM application or a provisioning system that is responsible for the creation and maintenance of this customer master data (see the SAP CC Implementation and Configuration Guide in help resources). |
