Subscription dependencies

Create or modify a subscription before setting it up. In the left pane of the subscription window, click the subscription root to view, and then open this tab.

 

The Dependencies tab allows you to:

 

Important: You can use dependent charges as master charges except in the following cases:

  • A dependent charge with a sponsor or discount role cannot be used as a master charge

  • A dependent charge with a commission role can only be master to a dependent charge with a commission role

 

Note: The Dependencies tab is unavailable if your subscription contains only master charges.

Dependencies tab

Use the table and its icons to assign master charges to dependent charges. Be careful with the order in which the dependencies are listed in the table.

Override Offer Level Dependencies: Select this option to modify the existing dependencies between master and dependent charges.

Important: After modifying dependencies and saving the subscription, you can no longer modify this option.

: Click to add a dependency row to the table.

: Click to delete a dependency row from the table.

: Click to move a row up. This changes the priority order of dependencies.

: Click to move a row down. This changes the priority order of dependencies.

Dependent: Provides the list of dependent charges used in the subscription. From the drop-down list, select a dependent charge.

Master: Provides the list of master charges used in the subscription. From the drop-down list, select the charge that you want to link to the dependent charge.
