Subscription counters

Create or modify a subscription before setting it up. In the left pane of the subscription window, click the subscription root to view, and then open the Counters tab.

 

At the subscription root, you can redefine a shared counter that was created in the original offer.

The list of the shared counters created for the original offer is displayed on the Counters tab. Each row in the list represents a shared counter that you can redefine.

Fill in or modify the Counters tab.

State: Provides a drop-down list. Select Redefined if you want to redefine the value of the counter.

Name: Displays the counter name.

Description: Displays the description of the counter.

Value: After you select Redefined in the State column, type the new value for the counter.

 

Notes:

  • When you save the subscription, even though you have redefined a shared counter at subscription root level, you will find that the state of the counter has reverted to Not Redefined. The modification is taken into account immediately by the system; therefore, the counter value remains dependent of the rating process.

  • You can continue redefining shared counters at subscription root level after the subscription has been saved.
