Once you have created or modified a spending status description, and then verified its structure, you are ready to save it. You can save the spending status description to either the back-end database or as an XML file on your hard disk.
To save a new spending status description to the database
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database. The Spending Status Description Creation dialog box opens.
Click OK.
To save a spending status description as an XML file
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In a File. A confirmation dialog box opens.
Click OK. The Save dialog box opens.
Select a directory to save the spending status description.
In the File name field, type the name of the file.
Click Save. The spending status description is saved as an XML file in your selected directory.
