Once you have created a range table class and then verified its configuration, you are ready to save it. You can save the range table class to either the database or as an XML file on your hard disk.
To save a new range table class to the database
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database. The Save in the catalog dialog box opens.
Select the name of the catalog.
Click Save. The Range Table Class Creation dialog box opens to inform you that the range table class has been successfully saved.
Click OK.
To save an existing range table class to the database
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database.
If the Range Table Class Modification dialog box opens to inform you that the range table class has been successfully modified, click OK. The new version of the range table class is saved as the only current version.
If a Warning dialog box opens to inform you that the range table class has been modified since you opened it, you can:
Click Overwrite and then Yes to overwrite the changes performed by another user. Clicking No enables you to come back to the range table class.
Click Cancel to come back to the range table class. See below how to save the range table class as an XML file.
To save a range table class as an XML file
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In a File. The Save dialog box opens.
Select a directory to save the range table class.
In the File name field, type the name of the file.
Click Save. The range table class is saved as an XML file in your selected directory.
