Setting up a monitoring plan in a provider contract

Caution: Do not manually create a provider contract if SAP Convergent Charging is already interfaced with a CRM or provisioning system responsible for managing provider contracts and customer master data. Refer to the caution for provider contracts.

 

Create, open, or modify a provider contract before setting up a contract item activating a monitoring plan. A Provider Contract window must be open.

The provider contract must include some contract items that activate a charge plan or a refill plan that shares the necessary counters to be monitored and reported as form of spending statuses.

To set up a contract item activating a monitoring plan in a provider contact

  1. In the left pane of the Provider Contract window, click .

  2. Set up the tabs of the contract item which references an original monitoring plan: Definition, Counters, Technical Data.
