Setting up a charge plan in a provider contract

Caution: Do not manually create a provider contract if SAP Convergent Charging is already interfaced with a CRM application or a provisioning system responsible for managing provider contracts and customer master data. Refer to the caution for provider contracts.

 

Create, open, or modify a provider contract before setting up a contract item activating a charge plan. A Provider Contract window must be open.

The provider contract must include some items that activate a charge plan or a refill plan.

To set up a contract item activating a charge plan in a provider contact

  1. In the left pane of the Provider Contract window, click .

  2. Set up the tabs of the contract item which references a charge plan: Definition, Counters, Parameters, Account Assignments, Technical Data.

Note: If the Counters or the Parameters tabs of the charge plan is not available (dimmed), this means no external counter or no external parameter was created in the original charge plan or refill plan.
