For activating a plan when adding a contract item

Caution: You activate a charge plan, a refill plan, or a monitoring plan only if you create a provider contract manually and want to add a contract item. Do not manually create a provider contract if SAP Convergent Charging is already interfaced with a CRM application or an external provisioning system responsible for managing provider contracts. Refer to the caution for provider contracts.

 

In a provider contract, you can activate a charge plan, a refill plan, or a monitoring plan by adding it to the provider contract as a contract item. You must then:

To activate a plan in a provider contract

  1. In the provider contract tree, right-click the provider contract icon .

  2. Click Activate Charge Plan, or Activate Refill Plan, or Activate Monitoring Plan.

  3. Select the plan to be activated to the provider contract.

  4. A new contract item is added. You must set up this contract item:

To deactivate an activated charge plan, refill plan, or monitoring plan

  1. Right-click the activated plan.

  2. Click Remove Plan.

To activate or deactivate a charge plan (or a refill plan, or monitoring plan), you can also:

  • Use the Action menu in Core Tool: Activate Charge Plan..., Activate Refill Plan..., Activate Monitoring Plan..., or Remove Plan...
