Fill in the Definition tab.
Status: Provides the list of release statuses. Select one of the following statuses:
Open: Select this status if you are working on the monitoring plan. This status allows you to modify the monitoring plan and save it in the back-end database. However, the monitoring plan cannot be used by the SAP CRM system or by another interfaced provisioning system. You cannot save several versions of the monitoring plan. An open plan cannot be activated in a contract item of a provider contract subscribed to by an end customer.
Released: Select this status when the monitoring plan is ready to be in production in the system landscape. The monitoring plan will not change anymore regarding to its data structure and to its signature. The monitoring plan can be used by the SAP CRM system or another interfaced provisioning system. You are only allowed to change the value of parameters. When you modify and save the monitoring plan in the database, the old versions of the monitoring plan are always stored in the database.
Obsolete: Select this status when the plan is still released but should not be used anymore or under restricted conditions. The monitoring plan can be used by the SAP CRM system or another interfaced provisioning system. You are allowed to do the same changes as with a released plan. When you modify and save the monitoring plan in the database, the old versions of the monitoring plan are always stored in the database. An obsolete plan can or cannot be combined in a commercial product depending on the integration that has been implemented between SAP CC and your CRM or provisioning system. Refer to the documentation of this system.
|
Important: When SAP CC is connected to SAP CRM, you cannot assign an obsolete plan to a new commercial product. Refer to the SAP CRM documentation for more information. |
Description: Describe the monitoring plan and its scope by typing a detailed text if necessary. This comprehensive information is mandatory. The SAP CRM system or provisioning system can display the description during the configuration of commercial products based on this monitoring plan. Note that you cannot change the description of the monitoring plan if its status is Released or Obsolete.
