Once you have created or modified a mapping table, and then verified it, you are ready to save it. You can save the mapping table to either the database or as an XML file on your hard disk.
To save a new mapping table to the database
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database. The Save in the catalog dialog box opens.
Select the name of the catalog.
Click Save. The Mapping Table Creation dialog box opens to inform you that the mapping table has been successfully saved.
Click OK.
To save a new version of an existing mapping table to the database
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In the Database. The Choose date dialog box opens.
Select a date from which the modified mapping table will be effective, and then click OK.
If the Mapping Table Modification dialog box opens to inform you that the mapping table has been successfully modified, click OK.
If a Warning dialog box opens to inform you that the mapping table has been modified since you opened it, you can:
Click Overwrite and then Yes to overwrite the changes performed by another user. Clicking No enables you to come back to the mapping table.
Click Cancel to come back to the mapping table. See below how to save the mapping table as an XML file.
To save a mapping table as an XML file
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Save > In a File. The Save dialog box opens.
Select a directory to save the mapping table.
In the File name field, type the name of the file.
Click Save. The mapping table is saved as an XML file in your selected directory.
