Before creating a mapping table, you must create a mapping table class.
Use one of these procedures to create a mapping table.
To create a mapping table
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > New > Mapping Table. The Choose Owner window opens.
In the Owner drop-down menu, select the owner of the mapping table.
Click OK. The New Mapping Table window opens.
Set up the mapping table.
Verify the mapping table by clicking the Verify icon
on the main window toolbar. Correct all elements underlined in red.
Save the mapping table.

Note: Once you have saved a mapping table, you can no longer modify its name or mapping table class. You can only modify the rows of the mapping table. |
You can create a mapping table by opening an existing mapping table and copying it.
To create a mapping table from an existing mapping table
From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Open > Mapping Table. The Open Mapping Table dialog box opens.
In the Owner drop-down menu, select the owner of the mapping table.
In the Mapping Tables folder of the catalog of the owner, select the mapping table to be copied.
Select the Open a Copy check box, and then click Open. The corresponding mapping table window opens.
Modify the mapping table if necessary.
Do not forget to change the name of the mapping table.
Verify the mapping table by clicking the Verify icon
on the main window toolbar. Correct all elements underlined in red.
Save the mapping table.
