Setting up a mapping table class

Create a mapping table class before setting it up. A mapping table class window must be open.

The mapping table class allows you to create the structure of your mapping tables (and subscriber mapping tables) which can consists of one to five input columns and one to fifteen output columns.

Note: Once you have saved a mapping table class, you can no longer modify it. You can only create or modify mapping tables and subscriber mapping tables.

To set up a mapping table class, you must fill in or modify the Table Schema tab and the Additional Information tab.

Name: Type the unique identifier of the mapping table class.

Description: Describe the mapping table class. This description is mandatory.

Use the following icons to fill in the tables Input Columns and Output Columns:

: Add a new row to the table to define a new input or an output column in the schema of the mapping table class.

: Delete a row from the table.

: Move a row up.

: Move a row down.

Note: You can add 4 input columns and 15 output columns maximum.

Additional Information tab

Use the table and its icons to create additional information.

: Click to add a row to the table.

: Click to delete a row from the table.

Fill in each row that you add to the table:

Name: Type the name of the additional information.

Type: Provides the list of the additional information types. Select one of the following types: Number, String, or Date.

Value: Type the additional information according to the selected type.

Description: Type the description of the additional information. This description is visible from the SAP ERP system or an external provisioning system.
