Create or modify a charge, and then set up the charge before setting up the price plan. A charge window must be open.
|
Important: Before modifying a price plan, it is strongly recommended to read the caution about what you can do or not. |
|
Note: Applicable to offers and subscriptions but not applicable to charge plans and provider contracts. If your version of SAP Convergent Charging uses the prerating and postrating features (*) and if there are unresolved prerating events for the subscription that uses your charge, modifying the price plan of the charge may lead to a postrating result that differs from its corresponding prerating result. If there are unresolved prerating events in the database, it is recommended to wait until they have been postrated or until the rating record list has been cleared. In addition, do not save a new version of a charge to a date before the last prerating operation because this will lead to a rating error. (*): The note is equally true for the session-based rating feature. For example, if there are pending sessions, modifying the price plan of a charge may result in errors. |
In a charge window, a price plan is graphically represented by a rating tree, which can consist of price plan components using counters, parameters, pricing macros, translation tables, tier tables, or mapping tables depending on the requirements of the plan.

is selected; otherwise, select it.

If the counter name already exists in another price plan in a charge and if you create a charge plan or an offer by setting up a master and a dependent charge, then the transient counters are shared. At runtime, the SAP CC system the value of the counter from the master charge to the dependent charge. See sharing transient counters for more information.
