Charging components

Charging components are tools you use to create a charging plan. Together the components make up a charging tree. You use the charging tree in a charging plan to debit or refill an account.

Each main branch of the charging plan begins with a Charging component that is linked to a charging activation method. There are three types of charging linked to three methods of activation:

Type of charging

Activation

Usage

Each usage

Recurring

Periodic

One-Shot

Once only

The values generated higher up a charging branch become available to all parts of the branch further toward the ends of the branch. When a property is generated on one charging branch, it cannot be used on another charging branch.

Once you have selected the charging plan icon in the charging tree display area of your charge, you can start building a charging tree.

Charging plan components

The components of a charging tree are grouped into three families depending on their main function:

(*): These components are also used in a price plan to calculate a price.
