The Charge window opens when you open a charge or create a charge and link it to a chargeable item class.
The following figure shows a Charge window in which an SAP CC user has built a charging plan and a price plan. The charge "Phone Calls" is defined as a master charge and is linked to the chargeable item class “Telecom Services”.
The Components toolbar is available when you click the Price Plan icon 
or the Charging Plan icon 
in the tree display area. The toolbar contains shortcut buttons to add calculation tools (called components) that are categorized into seven families according to their main functions.
If you have not yet added a component to your tree, only the Rates family icon or the Charging family icon is available. After adding a Rate or a Charging component, the other component families are available depending on the type:
The object status icon shows you if the open object is being created, is being modified, or has been saved.
The tree display area shows a graphical representation of the tree, which is made up of rating and charging components that appear as icons. By clicking on different elements in the tree, the information related to the selected element is displayed in the tab area and different component families are available on the Components toolbar.
