Creating a chargeable item class

Use one of these procedures to create a chargeable item class.

To create a chargeable item class

1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > New > Chargeable Item Class. The New Chargeable Item Class window opens.

2. Set up the chargeable item class.

3. Verify the structure of the chargeable item class by clicking the Verify icon on the main window toolbar. Correct all elements underlined in red.

4. Save the chargeable item class.

You can create a chargeable item class by opening an existing chargeable item class and copying it.

To create a chargeable item class from an existing one

1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Open > Chargeable Item Class. The Choose a Chargeable Item Class dialog box opens.

2. In the Owner drop-down menu, select the owner of the chargeable item class.

3. In the catalog of the owner, select the chargeable item class to copy.

4. Select the Open a Copy check box, and then click the Open button. The corresponding chargeable item class window opens.

5. Rename the chargeable item class in the Name field, and then set up the chargeable item class.

6. Verify the structure of the chargeable item class by clicking the Verify icon on the main window toolbar. Correct all elements underlined in red.

7. Save the chargeable item class.
