Allowance plan definition

Create or modify an allowance plan before setting it up. In the right pane of the allowance plan window, open the Definition tab.

The Definition tab allows you to set the status of the allowance plan and gives a detailed description of the allowance plan.

Fill in the Definition tab.

Status: Provides the list of statuses. Select one of the following statuses:

Open: Select this status if you are working on the allowance plan. This status allows you to modify the allowance plan and save it in the database. Furthermore, you cannot save several versions of the allowance plan.
Released: Select this status when the allowance plan is ready to be in production. Furthermore, you can modify and save different versions of the released allowance plan. According to this status, you are only allowed to do the following:
Change the status of counters or parameters of the allowance logic depending on the counters and parameters declared at allowance plan level
Change the charged item class and the charged item mapping (Output Item tab)

Notes:

When you create an allowance plan, its status is automatically set to Open. You must save the allowance plan once before changing its status.
You can set the status to Released only if the current status of the allowance plan is Open.
According to the Open and Released statuses, the Create Allowance component cannot used the allowance plan. For more information on this component, refer to the Help system by clicking Components on the Help menu of the main window.

Description: Describe the allowance plan by typing a long text if necessary. This field is mandatory. Note that you cannot change the description of the allowance plan if its status is Released.
