SAP CC Core Tool uses your login and password to give you a unique user ID. Only administrators and user administrators can create new user profiles for SAP CC users.
An SAP CC user is a person (individual user) or a machine (service user) who is:
Authorized to work with SAP Convergent Charging systems
Assigned one or more roles in the organization
Associated or not to an existing pricing catalog to set up restrictions on master data:
Objects belonging to this catalog owned by a service provider
Objects related to the end customers (subscriber accounts, for example) and belonging to the same service provider

Note: To restrict access and control rights to users, you can also associate a list of authorized accesses with each user profile. |
When SAP CC Core Tool is running, you cannot log on to it by using another user name. To change the user name, you must close Core Tool and relaunch it with the user name and password of the new user.
Roles are predefined levels of authorization that grant users specific access and control rights within the SAP CC system. The various roles that are available and the level of authority associated with each role is listed in the table below.
