Setting up a subscriber account

Create, open, or modify a subscriber account before setting it up. A subscriber account window must be open.

In a subscriber account window, a subscriber account is graphically represented by a tree, which can consist of prepaid accounts and credit limit balances depending on the requirements of the subscriber account.

To set up a subscriber account

  1. In the tree display area of the subscriber account window, make sure that the subscriber account icon is selected; otherwise, select it.

  2. In the right pane of the subscriber account window, identify the subscriber account. In the Name field, type the unique identifier of the subscriber account. In the Description field, describe the function of the subscriber account if necessary.

  3. Set up the tabs of the subscriber account: Definition, Contracts, Mapping Tables, Range Tables, Additional Information, Default Charging, and Tax.

  4. If necessary, add one or more prepaid accounts, and then set them up.

  5. If necessary, add one or more external accounts, and then set them up.

Note: You can remove, cut, copy, and paste a component of a subscriber account tree by right-clicking the component and selecting Cut, Copy, or Paste.
