A price plan is a set of instructions that computes the amount of a charge. A price plan is represented by a rating tree.
Calculations in a price plan are only performed when the charge is triggered by:
The arrival of usage information or a ticket after a service (*) has been consumed
A provider contract event: Activation, suspension, or resumption
A periodic event in the case of a recurring amount such as an annual subscription fee
The trigger of a master charge for a dependent change
(*) Represented in SAP CC by a chargeable item class.
