Importing a charged item class

You can import charged item classes in XML format from a directory of your hard disk.

To import a charged item class

  1. From the menu bar in the main window, select File > Import. The Open dialog box opens.

  2. Open the directory in which the charged item class is saved, and then select the file of the charged item class.

  3. Click Open. The Import Objects dialog box opens. The options for importing versions of an object do not apply to objects because there is only one version of a charged item class.

  4. In the Import column, clear the check boxes of objects you do not wish to import, if necessary.

  5. Click Import.

 

Note: SAP CC Core Tool can only import an object which has previously been exported and saved (File > Export), rather than saved directly in a file (File > Save > In a File).

This is because the export process saves all versions of an object and the objects attached to it, rather than just one version that lacks associated objects. The import process requires all versions and associated objects to be available for import.
