Create or modify a charge plan before setting it up. In the right pane of the charge plan window, open the Definition tab.
The Definition tab allows you to set up the status of the charge plan and gives a detailed description of the charge plan.
Fill in the Definition tab.
Status: Provides the list of release statuses. Select one of the following statuses:
Open: Select this status if you are working on the charge plan. This status allows you to modify the charge plan and save it in the database. However, the charge plan cannot be used by the SAP ERP system or by an external provisioning system. You cannot save several versions of the charge plan.
Released: Select this status when the charge plan is ready to be in production. The charge plan can be used by the SAP ERP system or an external provisioning system. You are allowed to do the same changes as with the Released status. When you modify and save the charge plan in the database, the old versions of the charge plan are always stored in the database. The charge plan can be subscribed in an existing provider contract but cannot be subscribed in a new provider contract.
