During the production operation phase, you can:
Create, view, stop, or delete a batch rating and charging session
Manage the acquired CDRs before triggering the batch rating and charging operations
From the menu bar in the main window, select Tools > Handle Sessions > Rating Sessions. The Handle Rating Sessions window opens, which consists of two areas:
The top part of the window is the Filter area, which allows you to find rating sessions by using filter criteria. The information on the General and Advanced tabs is combined during the search operation.
The bottom area of the window is the Results area, which displays the search results allowing you to perform operations.
The General tab allows you to search for bacth rating and charging sessions depending on the following criteria:
Start Date Between: Select two dates to define a time period and search if the start date of rating sessions is included in this period. Click the calendars
related to the two fields to select the dates.
No. Rated CDRs: Type the number of CDRs rated during the session.
No. Erroneous CDRs: Type the number of errors occurred during the session.
Rating Mode: Provides the list of batch charging modes. Select No matter if you do not want to use the rating mode as a criterion, or select one of the following recommended mode:
Selection by day and stop on first fail
Selection by day and rate all
ANY STATUS
Other values are available for compatibility purposes
Status: Provides the list of status. Select No matter if you do not want to use the session status as a criterion, or select one of the following session status:
IN PROGRESS
ENDED
STOPPED
CLEANED
SELECTING SUBSCRIPTIONS
RATING CDRs
ANY STATUS
The Advanced tab allows you to create a table for searching rating sessions depending on various criteria: OID, Start Date, Duration (*), and so on. To add a row to the table, click the Add button. To delete a row from the table, select the related check box, and then click the Remove button.

The Results area consists of search buttons, an area for displaying the search results and buttons for working on rating sessions.
Double-click a row to view the properties of a rating session.
Use the following buttons to search for rating sessions:
Search: Starts a new search whether you use search criteria or not.
Clear Results: Deletes the results list.
Refresh: Updates the results area.
Columns: Opens the Choose Columns dialog box, which allows you to filter the information related to the rating sessions displayed in the table. You can delete from or add to the table one or more information columns.
Select a rating session in the results list, and then click one the following buttons:
Delete: Opens a confirmation dialog box. Click Yes to delete the selected rating session from the results list.
Stop: Opens a confirmation dialog box. Click Yes to stop the selected rating session which is running. The Results list is not refreshed. The button Stop is available only for the rating sessions displaying the status ‘In Progress’.
Refresh: Updates the results area.
Report: Opens the Report for Rating Session window to display the rating report relating to the selected rating session. Click Cancel to close the window, or click Save In File to save the report.
Handle CDRs: Opens the window to work with acquired CDRs.
Create: Opens the window to create a rating session.
