During the production operation phase, you can:
View, stop, or delete an acquisition session triggered by an external system
Manage the acquired CDRs before triggering the batch charging operations
From the menu bar in the main window, select Tools > Handle Sessions > Acquisition Sessions. The Handle Acquisition Sessions window opens, which consists of two areas:
The top part of the window is the Filter area, which allows you to find acquisition sessions by using filter criteria. The information on the General and Advanced tabs is combined during the search operation.
The bottom area of the window is the Results area, which displays the search results allowing you to perform operations.
The General tab allows you to search for acquisition sessions depending on the following criteria:
Start date between: Select two dates to define a time period and search if the start date of acquisition sessions is included in this period. Click the calendars
related to the two fields to select the dates.
Acquisition Mode: Provides the list of acquisition modes. Select No matter if you do not want to use the acquisition mode as a criterion, or select one of the following acquisition modes:
ACQUIRE
ACQUIRE AND DEDUPLICATE
ACQUIRE AND REJECT DUPLICATE
ANY STATUS
Status: Provides the list of status. Select No matter if you do not want to use the session status as a criterion, or select one of the following session status:
IN PROGRESS
ENDED
ENDED WITH ERROR
CLEANED
The Advanced tab allows you to create a table to search acquisition sessions depending on various criteria: OID, Start Date, Duration (*), and so on. To add a row to the table, click the Add button. To delete a row from the table, select the related check box, and then click the Remove button.

The Results area consists of search buttons, an area for displaying the search results and buttons for working on acquisition sessions.
Double-click a row to view the properties of an acquisition session.
Use the following buttons to search for acquisition sessions:
Search: Starts a new search whether you use search criteria or not.
Clear results: Deletes the results list.
Refresh: Updates the results area.
Columns: Opens the Choose Columns dialog box, which allows you to filter the information related to the acquisition sessions displayed in the table. You can delete from or add to the table one or more information columns.
Select an acquisition session in the results list, and then click one the following buttons:
Delete: Opens a confirmation dialog box. Click Yes to delete the selected acquisition session from the results list.
Stop: Click to stop an open acquisition session.
Report: Opens the Report for Acquisition Session window to display the acquisition report relating to the selected acquisition session. Click Cancel to close the window, or click Save In File to save the report.
Handle CDRs: Opens the window to work with CDRs just acquired.
