You can search for CDRs that you modify, delete, deduplicate, or batch rate and charge.
From the menu bar in the main window, select Tools > Handle CDRs. The Handle CDRs window opens, which consists of three areas:
The top part of the window is the Filter area, which allows you to find CDRs by using filter criteria. The information on the General and Advanced tabs is combined during the search operation.
The middle area of the window is the Results area, which displays the search results allowing you to perform operations.
The bottom part of the window is the Details area, which displays the details of CDRs that you select in the Results area.
The General tab allows you to search for CDRs depending on the following criteria:
Rating ID: Type the unique identifier of the CDR.
Acquisition ID: Type the identifier assigned to the CDR during the acquisition session.
Acquisition Date Between: Select two dates to define a time period and search the CDRs acquired during this period. Click the calendars
related to the two fields to select the dates.
Rating Date Between: Select two dates to define a time period and search the CDRs rated during this period. Click the calendars
related to the two fields to select the dates.
Consumption Date Between: Select two dates to define a time period and search if the consumption date of CDRs is included in this period. Click the calendars
related to the two fields to select the dates.
Status: Provides the list of status. Select No matter if you do not want to use the CDR status as a criterion, or select one of the following status:
NEW
ERROR
RATED
DUPLICATED
IGNORED
TO_BE_RERATED
NO_PROVISIONING
ONLINE_SUBSCRIPTION
ANY STATUS
Result Fetch Size: Type the number of CDRs you want to be displayed in the results area when the results list is large.
The Advanced tab allows you to create a table with one or more search criteria to search CDRs depending on various criteria: OID, Name, User ID (*), and so on. To add a row to the table, click the Add button. To delete a row from the table, select the related check box, and then click the Remove button.

The Results area consists of search buttons, an area for displaying the search results and buttons for working on CDRs.
To view a CDR, double click the related row.
Use the following buttons to search for CDRs:
Search: Starts a new search whether you use search criteria or not.
Clear Results: Deletes the results list.
<<: Moves to the previous page. This button is available when the results list is large.
>>: Moves to the next page. This button is available when the results list is large.
Save Search: Saves the results list in a file.
Open Search: Opens a results list saved in a file. The new results list is added to the existing one in the results area.
Columns: Opens the Choose Columns dialog box, which allows you to filter the information related to the CDRs displayed in the table. You can delete from or add to the table one or more information columns.
Select a CDR in the results list, and then click one the following buttons:
Modify: Opens the Modify CDR window to modify a CDR without de-duplicating it. Refer to the topic Modifying CDRs in bulk.
Delete: Opens a confirmation dialog box. Click Yes to delete the selected CDR from the results list.
Rate: Opens a confirmation dialog box. Click Yes to rate the selected CDR. After rating, the results table is not refreshed. The button Rate is available only for CDRs whose status is ‘new’ or ‘error’.
Deduplicate: Opens a confirmation dialog box. Click Yes to deduplicate the selected CDR.
