Business Context and Use

This process component provides an important operation that can be used to activate a charging contract stored in SAP CC, including all the associated charging contracts in case a parent/linked relationship exists.

Before the billing and invoicing processes in an external billing system, it is necessary to ensure that all periodic and one-off fees anterior to a reference date are computed by the SAP CC system.

Note

You can only activate charging contracts having an operational status set to active.

This is the latest version of this process component. It replaces the previous version 0.
With this version, decimal numbers are no longer restricted to the (28,6) precision. For decimal numbers stored in the database, the precision is limited to the precision supported by the database.
