Business Context and Use

You want to provide services to refill prepaid accounts from a CRM application or another external connected system like a Voucher Management System or a payment system.

Two use cases:

• A service provider want to provide a refill function for its "pay-as-you-go" services (a prepaid mobile phone for example). In this case, the credit is purchased in advance of the use of the customer service. Tax is already paid by the customer and must be the same level than for the service use (consumption, periodic and one-off fees). You must design the pricing logic (charges customized in charge plans) with this tax level.
• A service provider want to provide prepaid cards or gift cards to manage cash advance for its end customers. Tax will be calculated after the service use. You can design the pricing logic (charges customized in charge plans) with different tax levels for different services.

First you must identify the prepaid accounts to be refilled. Second, you must trigger the refill operation in SAP CC.

• Find the prepaid accounts related to one user technical identifier (V0)
• Refill a prepaid account (V0)

Prerequisites

The customer master data must be created before refilling a prepaid account. You have to create at least:

• One subscriber account and one prepaid account included in this subscriber account
• One charging contract with a refill plan class as item and having the prepaid account assigned to this item
