Business Context and Use

This process component enables you to consult the charge plan classes and refill plan classes released and stored in SAP CC to specify the commercial products managed and stored in your CRM application.

This process component enables you to create and maintain some elements (business data tables) of the pricing catalog that is stored in SAP CC for a service provider. Basically you configure manually the pricing catalog with the SAP CC Core Tool user interface. Your CRM application can directly manage mapping tables or range tables in the pricing catalog stored in SAP CC. You implement this process component to replicate and synchronize some pricing information extracted from your CRM, converted, and configured in SAP CC. Your integration takes into account the life cycle of this data to ensure the overall consistency of both systems.

Note

Similar tables can be defined as part of the customer master data and can be used in the Business Partner Management or Order Capture and Contract Management business contexts.

Product Modeling

Your CRM application or another provisioning system manages master data related to the modeling of commercial products. SAP CC extends this master data with pricing information to dynamically compute price amounts related to the usage of a customer service. This information is stored in a pricing catalog owned by the service provider.

CRM retrieves pricing information stored in SAP CC to combine charge plans in the definition of a commercial product. CRM can maintain or replicate some pricing data stored in SAP CC in a pricing catalog of the service provider: mapping tables and range tables .
