Configuring Destinations to ABAP System for Currency

Prerequisites

  • You have the Administrator role assigned to your user.

  • You have access to a back-end system with Currency end points.

Context

You configure destinations to the ABAP system where the currency data exists to be able to connect to the ABAP system and synchronize the currency data.

Procedure

  1. Open SAP NetWeaver Administrator:

    http://<hostname>:<port>/nwa and navigate to Start of the navigation pathConfiguration  Next navigation step Infrastructure Next navigation step Currency Administration Next navigation step SynchronizationEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Select Destination Configuration and then open the Consumer Proxies tab page.
  3. Choose the Go pushbutton without entering any data. When the interfaces are shown in the table, enter sea in the Namespace field and press ENTER to filter the results.
  4. Select CurrencyQueryResponse_In and navigate to Start of the navigation pathDetails Next navigation step ConfigurationEnd of the navigation path.
  5. In the Logical Port table, select binding and choose the Set as Default pushbutton.
  6. In the Details about binding Logical Port table, open the General tab page and choose the Edit pushbutton.
  7. Enter the end point URL:

    http://<backend_system_host>:<backend_system_port>/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/currencyqueryresponse_in/000/currencyqueryresponse_in/binding

  8. On the Security tab page, select HTTP Authentication and select the User ID/Password (Basic) radio button.
  9. Choose the Details pushbutton and specify the username and password.
